Nos ancêtres les Gaulois ?
The show that debunks some of the foundational myths taught in school
In 1880, the famous historian Ernest Lavisse gave a major lecture on his latest history book: *Our Ancestors, the Gauls*.
Suddenly, emerging from a space-time rift, a young 21st-century historian, Nadia Valenti, interrupts him.
She invites the audience to travel back in time to uncover the truth—if it exists—and to correct inaccuracies, or even misinterpretations.
She invites us to question our “National Narrative”: Were all our ancestors Gauls? Was the founding of Marseille simply love at first sight between Gyptis and Protis? Were prehistoric women already perfect homemakers? Did Joan of Arc suffer from tinnitus?
